There’s A New Cap In Town

The New Look of A Superhero Icon

Steve Rogers may still be dead but that doesn’t mean Captain America is still dead. The above pic is the new look of the new Captain America set to debut in Captain America #34. Marvel knew that the re-design was definitely something that needed to be done by their go-to man for most re-designs: Alex Ross.

Check out the Newsarama interview with Alex Ross and writer, Ed Brubaker as they breakdown the new look of a superhero icon. Yet there is still no mention of who the new Cap really is. Is it a clone? Is it Winter Soldier? A skrull? Punisher? Tony Stark with an imaging suit because he’s that big of dick to pull it off? Hopefully all that, and then some, will be revealed in January when Captain America #34 hits the shelves.

i don’t like the new redesign…he’s too shiny. looks like silver surfer..but u know america surfer. and why does he have a gun? is he cappin’ motherfuckers now HAHAHA

  • LoneWolf

Maybe it’s shiny so that the bad guys get blinded when they see him. LOL But the article says that they took his old shield design and used that for his chest design. Also he’s got a gun cause the old 1940′s Cap has one and supposedly it fits the character who is donning the new threads. So yeah, he probably is cappin’ fools now. Then Spidey chimes in “Man, Cap just capped yo ass!”

oh yeah. I do remember that. After so he’s the “new” cap. Is he gonna emo dance…no no no wait, that was Spiderman 3….*sigh
