Mustang Jeffrey, Not Sally
by LoneWolf on Dec.29, 2008, under As Random As Random Gets

Dropped off the Irken Elite this morning at the collision repair center. While the car is in the shop, we picked up a rental car from Enterprise. Unfortunately with many people getting into accidents or visiting from out of state, Enterprise barely had no selection to choose from. It was all first come, first served unless you had a reservation. So we asked for something in the compact series that would be similar to my car. The grandmother in front of us got the last one and the only vehicle available was a Ford Mustang. I don’t even know the year, but it’s got the new ‘old-school’ body design. UPDATE: 12.29.08, 2102 – It’s a 2008 Mustang.
I’ve never been a fan of muscle cars. Probably cause having all that power under the hood seems pointless since we don’t have an autobahn. Plus it’s a gas guzzler. But we have to make do with what they’ve got for us. Lucky for me I can easily adapt my driving to any style of car. This will most likely be the one and only time I’ll be behind the wheel of a mustang. Enterprise should really look into upgrading their line with nothing but ‘green’ cars to do their part in helping the environment.

The Spoils of Xmas 2008
by LoneWolf on Dec.29, 2008, under Nerd Alert

With 1 TV series completed, 3 more begun, this year’s presents are more media themed. I obviously don’t mind cause they are presents and DVDs we wanted but just haven’t had the time or money to treat ourselves. Other than DVDs, we got some tech, some comic book related stuff, and, not pictured, clothes.
- DVDs:
- Farscape: The Complete Fourth Season (Thanks, Jason and Gary!)
- Flight of the Navigator (Originally was ‘Honey I Shrunk The Kids’ from Justin, but it wasn’t widescreen. So Serena exchanged it for ‘Flight of the Navigator’ because she liked Justin’s drawing!)
- Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog (from me to Serena, but I’ll probably watch it and sing along when I’m all by myself, a lot.)
- Pixar’s Short Films Collection Vol. 1 (Thanks, Jason and Gary!)
- How I Met Your Mother Season 3 (To Serena, from Secret Santa Eleanore)
- The Incredible Hulk: TARGET Edition (Thanks Serena!)
- Arrested Development Season 1 (Thanks Serena!)
- The Big Bang Theory Season 1 (From my Secret Santa, Jackie!)
- Tech:
- The Sanyo Eneloop Power Pack: 8 AA’s, 2 AAA’s, C and D adapters and a charger. (From my brothers. The original charger I had asked for had been ordered but didn’t come in on time. So hopefully it will be in before New Year’s.)
- The Canon PowerShot SX110 IS digital camera (From me to Serena!)
- Comics and Collectibles:
- JOKER hardcover graphic novel by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo (Thanks, Jason and Gary!)
- Little Damn Heroes Kaylee Maquette (From me to Serena)
- Justice League Unlimited FLASH Paperweight (Thanks Justin!)
- CDs:
- Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog Soundtrack (From me to Serena)
- Clothes:
- Legend of Zelda Triforce Beanie (Thanks Serena!)
- I <3 Shooting Zombies tee (Not pictured, link not found. From Threadless, Thanks Justin!)
- Charr Warrior tee (Not pictured. Thanks Jason and Gary!
- Van Huesen Studio long sleeve sweater (Not pictured. From my godchild, Skye)
- Sonoma Lifestyle Sleepwear (Not pictured. From John and Jackie to Serena)
- Sonoma Lifestyle Sweater (Not pictured. From my mom to Serena)
DVD FTW this Xmas! Here’s hoping you got all that you wanted and more this holiday!
On a side note, I’ve been listening to ‘Commentary The Musical’ on the Dr. Horrible Sing Along Blog DVD while typing this up. Pretty freakin’ sweet and hilarious.
