A New Year’s Reflection
by LoneWolf on Jan.01, 2009, under The Real Truth You Should Know, Transmissions of My Life
Another [year] down the mines of our lives. We drink til we stink and smoke til we choke because that’s how we get things done, you and me. Spending our lives making things and making things out of our lives, because anything else would be dull as hell. And we’re damned if we’re going to sit at the other end of whatever years we get saying, well, what the f#@& was that for? Years of scars, lipstick, and tears and every day the dawn comes on we turn our eyes up in the sunrise, saying: There’s that goddamn sun again. ~ Doktor Sleepless
Well there goes 2008. A year much like 2007, 2008 was year that should have been better. So what’s do I have to look forward to in 2009? Well, other than another year of life on this mudball of a planet, I am going to be an uncle. I will be 20 years with 12 years xp (experience) in March. And if there aren’t any more god forsaken financial setbacks, maybe I’ll be able to take Serena to San Diego for the 2009 Comic-Con. Hell, maybe we’ll take a frillin’ vacation.
As far as resolutions, I’ll continue to keep the resolutions that are easiest for me to keep:
- Live life to it’s fullest.
- Work to live and not live to work.
- Work like the money doesn’t matter.
True religion is real living; living with all one’s soul, with all one’s goodness and righteousness. ~ Albert Einstein
Here’s to 2009, another year of being true to myself. Regardless of what others think!
