Proud Uncle!

I spent Super Bowl Sunday with my family today. I was rooting for the underdogs as usual. In this case, it was the Arizona Cardinals. It was a slow game up until the second half. It was exciting til the end. Tough loss for the Cardinals though. They really needed a better defense as well as not give up so many yards in penalties. The most exciting part wasn’t game related at all. Tonight I finally met and held my new niece, Juliet Frances, for the first time! I couldn’t be at the hospital when she was born, the Irken Elite was still in the shop and I was hit hard by a fever which eventually led to strep throat the following week. So I was really excited when John, Jackie and Juliet finally arrived about middle of the second quarter!
So when I finally held her in my arms, that’s when it hit me: I’m a very proud uncle!
