It’s New Comic Book Day!

by on May.05, 2010, under A Comic Book Guy and His Comics

Pretty light pick up this week at Keith’s Komix. That’s fine with me as BRIGHTEST DAY # 1 is on the top my pile to read right away. The BATMAN titles dominate after BRIGHTEST DAY and things get even more interesting in BUFFY Season 8 after all the f**king done (literally earth-shaking) in the last issue. JSA All Stars finish up their first arc and Dellec’s past is revealed in a milestone issue that has a Retailer’s Incentive cover that Serena could not pass up!

  • BATMAN AND ROBIN # 12
  • BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL # 44
  • BRIGHTEST DAY # 1
  • BUFFY SEASON 8 # 35
  • DELLEC # 4
  • JSA ALL-STARS # 6
  • RED ROBIN # 12

PICK OF THE WEEK: BRIGHTEST DAY # 1
BRIGHTEST DAY # 1

Written by GEOFF JOHNS and PETER J. TOMASI •Art by IVAN REIS, PATRICK GLEASON, ARDIAN SYAF, SCOTT CLARK and JOE PRADO • Covers by DAVID FINCH •Variant cover by IVAN REIS and OCLAIR ALBERT

BRIGHTEST DAY continues, but in ways you can’t possibly expect! What does BRIGHTEST DAY mean to the DC Universe? Is everything from here on out going to be bright and shiny? No, BRIGHTEST DAY means something else entirely, something we can’t tell you…yet. But we can tell you our heroes will need to rise up more than ever to combat the forces of evil, and a select few will uncover a secret that binds them ALL.

HAPPY READING!
