E3 2010: Mortal Kombat Announcement Trailer

Looks like the Mortal Kombat franchise is going back to its roots. No more colliding with other worlds. It’s best to leave that sort of thing to the pros (Capcom). Looks like 2D with 3D modeling and dynamic camera angles when executing moves and fatalities. New moves and what looks like a tag-team mode will be added to the mix. Fatalities, those bloody, gory and well over the top finishers, are making a comeback! Let’s hope the ESRB doesn’t bitch and everything gets toned down at the last minute like the previous game. This game will be developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive.
