by on Jul.31, 2010, under In True Geek Fashion, Nerd Alert

Yesterday afternoon, our box of swag from the SDCC finally arrived. I finally unboxed everything, revealing a few surprise items I got for Serena like I always do after every convention.

Not pictured:

  • The Scourge # 0 SDCC 2010 Aspen Panel Exclusive signed by Scott Lobdell and Eric Battle
  • Aspen Splash! 2010 Swimsuit Spectacular SDCC Exclusive issue
  • The Scourge # 0 SDCC 2010 Exclusive Sketch Edition with sketch by Alex Konat
  • Dellec: Beginnings # 1
  • Mark Schultz: Blue Book sketchbook
  • Lady Mechanika print by Joe Benitez
  • Lantern Corps print by Adam Archer
  • The Guild photo signed by the cast
  • DVD covers of The Guild Seasons 1-3 and Red vs. Blue I brought with me and got signed
  • Red vs. Blue: Ask Me About My Zombie Plan T-shirt
  • Halo Kitty T-Shirt
  • W00tStock Achievement T-Shirt
  • Let It W00t T-Shirt

We picked up lots of books this year, from reference books to hardcover graphic novels to sketchbooks of various sizes. Didn’t go crazy with toys this year, and that’s ok. Books are easier to store than toys.

I took more pics but I haven’t found a decent gallery plugin for WordPress. Thought of getting back into Flickr but too lazy to look into it. I will create a Facebook album for all my nearest and dearest to see.

With all the swag we brought back from SDCC this year, we probably won’t spend any money at the Chicago Comic-con. Right?

;p

p.s. I may or may not do separate posts highlighting any of the swag listed above and below. It all depends on how lazy I am.
