Hawken Gameplay Video Will Have You Drooling For More

by on Mar.31, 2011, under Nerd Alert, On Teh Internets

Hawken is a multiplayer mech combat game being developed by indie developer Adhesive Games based out of Los Angeles, CA. Usually, any mech game plays quite slow. What makes Hawken unique is that it fast-paced like most FPS games out there today. A fast-paced Mech FPS sounds like an oxymoron but once you see the gameplay videos, you’ll see that Adhesive Games looks to break the mold of traditional mech games. Another factor that contributes to Hawken’s uniqueness is the fact that Adhesive Games is developing Hawken using the Unreal Engine from EPIC Games. There is no date of release as of yet. Adhesive Games is hoping to bring Hawken to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms.

EPIC Games should definitely keep an eye on Adhesive Games and maybe lend their support like they did with People Can Fly and Bulletstorm.
