Back to Beginnings
When your thoughts are muddled or distracted, you should know how to alert yourself. When your thoughts are tense, you should know how to let them go. Otherwise, once you get rid of torpor you may bring on excitement.

Dear Marvel,

Spiderman: One More Day = emergency toilet paper

I just finished reading “One More Day” thinking this story arc would put Spiderman back on the track of one of my favorite books from being a mere rag of a comic that can be used as toilet paper in case of an emergency. I was hoping that all of you at Marvel would finally move Spiderman forward with new stories, life after the mistake of Spiderman outing himself, life after you guys gave him those talons, claws or whatever the F@$& you want to call them, and life after Aunt May. But Seriously W-T-F?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Did you not learn from your previous, supposedly ground-breaking, story arcs (which I borrowed from others to read because they weren’t worth my money, now realizing it, my time) that changing the history of one of your most iconic characters is a slap to the face of the millions of Spiderman fans out there? Did you not get the clue from your previous story arcs that are so infamous that someone on teh Internets actually posted an article listing your worst story arcs (ever) for all those to see?

Just because you decided to kill the movie franchise with Spiderman 3, doesn’t give you the right to continually f@$& up the comics and continually throw this $#!t into faces of loyal readers. Are you trying to drive readers away? Or is this some marketing scheme so that in the end, us readers will have to shell out another 399 pennies per issue on a story arc that completely fixes the already jacked up continuity of the series?

Fix Spiderman, I don’t care if you do it in one issue where he wakes up and all of your f@$&ed up stories end up as bad dreams. FIX IT!

Sincerely,

Jeff

If you wish to let Marvel know that they should stop f@$&ing up one of their biggest icons in comic book history, email them at: spideyoffice@marvel.com

UPDATE: Newsarama just posted an awesome article on the impact of OMD/BND on comic book retailers. And it looks like I’m not the only reader who is pissed off. Check it.
