I seriously need to win the lottery so I can spend money on MMORPG subscription fees and not feel guilty.

I’m about midway through my second playthrough of HALO REACH since it’s launch last month. This month, I’ve picked up only two games (out of the plethora of games out this month) that are definitely worthy of my time: FABLE III and STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED II. I did pick up MEDAL Of HONOR earlier this month too. It was a solid effort by Danger Close and DICE bringing the franchise to the 21st century. However, the single player wasn’t memorable enough for more than one playthrough and the multiplayer, like any first person shooter, needed more fine tuning. I actually prefer BAD COMPANY 2′s multiplayer and wish DICE had added more of BAD COMPANY 2′s style to MEDAL Of HONOR’s online play. I’ll probably keep MoH just a little bit longer as I had intended to trade it in towards the two games above, but I didn’t need to since I had gone through my library and cleaned out most of the games I barely touch nowadays (Mirror’s Edge, Lost Planet 2, Crackdown 2, etc.) or had no time to commit to playing (jRPGs like Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery etc.). All those games I traded in got me a good amount of credit towards FABLE III and STFUII (<--LOL 'STFU'). I only spent $20 for both, $10 for each reservation that I had made months ago.

These two games should keep Serena and I entertained as we wait for ASSASSIN'S CREED BROTHERHOOD's release next month. Still on the fence with KINECT. But after BROTHERHOOD, we'll be done with videogames for 2010!
