We picked up lots of books this year, from reference books to hardcover graphic novels to sketchbooks of various sizes. Didn’t go crazy with toys this year, and that’s ok. Books are easier to store than toys.
I took more pics but I haven’t found a decent gallery plugin for WordPress. Thought of getting back into Flickr but too lazy to look into it. I will create a Facebook album for all my nearest and dearest to see.
With all the swag we brought back from SDCC this year, we probably won’t spend any money at the Chicago Comic-con. Right?
;p

p.s. I may or may not do separate posts highlighting any of the swag listed above and below. It all depends on how lazy I am.
SDCC’09 Spoils

Usually, I tend to spend more money than I should at conventions. This year, I didn’t go crazy since we were attending two conventions this year. I needed to budget my spending at the San Diego Comic-Con so that we wouldn’t go into Wizard World Chicago broke.
I Can Has Halo 3 SDCC Exclusives

Late post. Thanks to my cousin, Mark, for spending some of his time on the last, and only day he went to, of SDCC, waiting in line to get me the ticket since I could not be at this year’s convention as I had hoped. After he got the ticket, he shot a few pics with his cell and sent them to me. The code was readable and that same Sunday I ordered the exclusives. They came via UPS a later that week. They sit atop my desk, still in box, on display.
I kinda feel like Jabba the Hutt. Not fat, but that feeling of triumph he had when he displayed Han Solo, frozen in carbonite, on his wall.
