Trading up towards the new Xbox 360? My inside source, codenamed Wildo, has informed me of the promotional pricing plan for those wanting to trade in their old Xbox 360 systems for the newer, slimmer, whisper quieter, and more prone to fingerprints with its shinyness, Xbox 360[slim].
The trade-In price list:
Systems
All — $100HDDs
20 GB HDD — $30
60 GB HDD — $35
120 GB HDD — $40
250 GB HDD — $50Memory Cards
64 MB Memory Card — $10
256 MB Memory Card — $14
512 MB Memory Card — $18Adapters
Wireless adapter – $40
Wireless N adapter (disc required) – $50Controllers
Wired Controller – $20
Wireless Controller – $25
Of course, you can trade other stuff as well to lower the cost of the new Xbox 360: other consoles, their games and their accessories too.

Update on Upgrade
by LoneWolf on Feb.05, 2006, under Nerd Alert
It’s been a little over a week since my PC Upgrade 2006 event, and so far my PC is running great! Windows XP Pro actually loaded on my first try! Yeah, no odd blue screens with weird, undecypherable messages, no system beeps, no files failed to copy. After XP Pro, came updates and Service Pack 2. Drivers installed without a hitch. Since I have no SATA drives yet, I re-installed my PCI Raid card and after the drivers installed, my original RAID array was found and Windows accepted the volume. WOOT! Photoshop CS2 installed fine. Guild Wars installed and looks freakin’ sweet with my new video card. Finally installed F.E.A.R. and the game looks and plays awesome! A few more ‘appz’ to install and that will finish off this round of upgrades.
