In ordered to get Left 4 Dead 2 to pass the Australian videogame ratings board, Valve had tone down the awesome graphical violence that is scene in the game. The video above shows the difference between the Australian censored version and the uncut version I’ll be picking up in two weeks.

It is crazy that there are that many petitioners whiners out there who claim they are going to boycott the game. I say ‘claim’ because I don’t think they’ll be singing that same tune when the game officially comes out. When has Valve ever really done the consumer any injustice that really grabbed the attention of the game media outlets? I can’t think of any incidents, only moments of praise for the developer. These so-called petitioners need to chill and just wait for the game to come out. Left 4 Dead 2 is tentatively set for a November 17, 2009 release date. I can’t wait!
